In addition to the delicious seafood, El Canucks del Leon offers plenty of dining choices for those in the mood for something different including hamburgers, chicken, steaks, ribs and even stuffed peppers!

Both an actual fish market and a seafood restaurant, The Fish Market in Mazatlan is a delight for seafood lovers.

The Fish Market sources its' fresh seafood offerings daily at Mazatlan's docks, and also imports exotic specialty seafood items like Alaskan King Crab and White Tuna.

The restaurant space is small -- seating little more than 20 -- but very clean and comfortable. The menu -- officially described as featuring Spanish, Basque and Hawaiian styles of cooking -- is extensive: everything from lighter sushi-style offerings and ceviche to delightful batter fried fish, larger entrees and even New England Clam Chowder.

The Fish Market also serves delightful fish sandwiches, as well as shrimp burgers, tuna burgers, fish tacos, burritos and quesadillas.

The french fries are worth a trip all by themselves: crisp, golden brown and served with an exquisite mayonnaise-chipotle dipping sauce and malt vinegar!

Located in the Golden Zone close to the Pueblo Bonita Resort, the restaurant part of The Fish Market is open from noon until late at night and both beer and wine are served. The market itself opens at 8am Monday-Saturday and stays open til late evening. Sundays they are open from noon til 9:00 pm.
