Cafe Bolero has a complete bar with many exotic spirits and features live music nightly.
More than a bar, Cafe Bolero features a menu that includes steaks, chicken, shrimp, salads, burgers, sandwiches and a wide variety of Mexican snacks. Housed in a classic Centro Historico building at the corner of Constitucion and Belisario, Cantina Tertulia is bullfight-themed, with bull heads hanging above tables in the main room. The walls are covered with posters and photos of bullfights. Upstairs leads to a narrow outdoor balcony that wraps around the building and provides a great perch for people watching in the Centro Historico. Rene Tirado runs the Cantina Tertulia and he -- as well as many other members of the staff -- have bull fighting experience and love to share stories with interested customers. Drinks at the Cantina Tertulia bar are very inexpensive, with beer under 1 USD and outstanding mixed drinks similarly value-priced!
